How this part works
The fuel system delivers a measured mix of petrol and air to the engine. Older bikes use a carburetor; BS6 bikes use a fuel pump, injector and throttle body controlled by the ECU. Hard starting, poor mileage or a hesitant pickup often point to a blocked jet, worn carburetor parts or a weak pump.
