Warranty policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
What's covered when a part carries a warranty, and how to claim.
1. Which parts have a warranty
- Each part's warranty is shown on its product page, for example "6-month warranty", and in the part's details. It's the warranty the part's manufacturer gives.
- Parts that show "Quality checked before dispatch" instead carry no separate warranty. If such a part arrives damaged or defective, our cancellation, returns and refunds policy and your rights under consumer law apply.
- The warranty period runs from the date the part is delivered to you, unless the manufacturer's warranty card says otherwise. Keep your GST invoice (downloadable from My account → Orders) as proof of purchase.
2. What the warranty covers
Defects in materials or manufacturing that appear during the warranty period under normal use. Depending on the manufacturer's terms and our inspection, the part is repaired or replaced, or, if neither is possible, refunded.
You can claim through us for any part bought from us. Where the manufacturer runs its own warranty service, you can also claim with them directly using your invoice.
3. What it doesn't cover
- Normal wear and tear. Parts such as brake pads and shoes, clutch plates, chains and sprockets, filters and bulbs wear out with use; their warranty covers manufacturing defects, not wear.
- Damage from incorrect installation, or from fitting the part to a vehicle it isn't listed for.
- Accidents, misuse, neglect, overloading, racing, or water and fire damage.
- Parts that have been modified, repaired or tampered with by anyone other than the manufacturer.
- Electrical parts damaged by faulty wiring or the wrong voltage in the vehicle.
We recommend having every part fitted by a qualified mechanic. Keep the fitting bill if you have one; it helps with a claim.
4. How to claim
- Contact us with your order number, the part, a short description of the problem, and clear photos or a video.
- We may ask you to send the part back so that we or the manufacturer can inspect it. We'll tell you how.
- We tell you the outcome and, if the claim is accepted, repair, replace or refund the part. If it isn't accepted, we explain why.
5. Your rights under law
This warranty is in addition to, and doesn't limit, your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including for defective goods.
